The Government of Dubai Authority on Commodities Trade and Entrepreneurship, along with DMCC, a premier free zone, have started building the second phase of their Uptown Dubai Phase 2 development to expand and enhance their real estate portfolio that offers 1, 2, 3 & 4 apartments, commercial office space, and retail.

According to a statement issued Uptown Dubai Phase 2 by DMCC, Swissboring's top objectives include excavation of the whole Phase two plot, dewatering, foundation work for the towers, podium levels, and upcoming bridges, as well as basement retention systems for the three basement levels of the two structures.
Within the Uptown Dubai Phase 2 In Dubai neighborhood at the southernmost point of the city, two mid-rise towers, measuring 23 and 17 stories each, are to be built as part of Phase Two's scope of work.
Per DMCC, these towers will provide 86,000 square feet of retail and food and beverage (F&B) space in line with the upscale level of the urban neighborhood, in addition to 753,000 square feet of Grade A commercial office space.
More than half of the area's planned buildings have now been launched, it said, after the two towers were added to the district alongside Uptown Tower Phase 2 is a mix-used development.
The district's central attraction, The Plaza, will ultimately be surrounded by Uptown Dubai Phase 2 Apartments and nine skyscrapers, and provide a vibrant and varied array of events, including immersive art exhibits, music, cinema, and fashion shows.
The statement claims that when Uptown Dubai is completed, its gross floor area (GFA) will be 5.8 million, of which 2.5 million will be used for commercial office space.
Speaking at the groundbreaking event, CEO and Executive Chairman Ahmed Bin Sulayem stated that Uptown Tower's successful launch last year is the reason for this.
The 81-story tower, which is a part of the urban luxury hotel SO/ Uptown Dubai, features branded residences and hotel rooms. According to him, 31 of the top businesses in the world, including Invisalign, Wellbred, Hikvision, and the Gemological Institute of America, are housed there.
